There has been a rise in Keyless FORD Motor vehicle theft in our area. Suspects are using a electronic device to relay the signal key inside a home to the vehicle.

How to protect your car

. Block the signal: Store your keys in signal - blocking pouch, also known as a Faraday bag. 

. Turn off Wireless signals: If possible, turn off the wireless signal on your fob when it's not in use. 

. Use additional security: Consider a steering wheel lock or a car alarm as extra deterrent. 

. Install Dash cameras.
